If you are unsure if a reagent is expired , test with a confirmed sample and evaluate results.
If your reagents are not performing as expected , please contact us .
We keep samples of all reagent batches so that we can track down mistakes on our side.
Storage conditions will greatly affect the shelf life of reagents. Storing upright in the fridge is a good idea.
Reagents are moisture sensitive. Allow reagents that have been stored in the fridge to warm to room temperature before use. (Condensation of moisture in the air)
Wear gloves when working with reagents. They are corrosive , if reagents come in contact with your skin , calmly rinse it with water.
Reagents can be neutralised with baking soda after results have been observed.
Remember to store reagents upright , since contact with the cap will degrade the reagent (We are working on producing more chemically resistant caps). The first drop that comes out of after the reagent has been sitting for a while should be discarded.
